The circuit to the motor has changed now because the holding switch has taken over. The circuit to the mold heater is still through the thermostat, but the motor which has to be powered through the whole cycle, even if the thermostat opens due to a rise in temperature is being energized because the position of the holding switch has changed. The shut-off arm has started to move upward.
